Dentistry Downtown Scholarship (2025)

Dr. Rebecca Howell is a general dentist and owner of Dentistry Downtown in Huntsville, AL. She is a graduate of Madison County schools including Grissom High School and The University of Alabama in Huntsville. Dr. Howell is passionate about promoting dental health and higher education in our community and actively aids in education by participating in health fairs, school internship programs, interaction with her patients, and scholarships.

Award

The goal of the Dentistry Downtown Scholarship is to promote dental health and higher education in North Alabama. This scholarship is available to graduating seniors, Class of 2025, who plan to attend a two- or four-year institution in Madison or Limestone County.

The Dentistry Downtown Scholarship awards a one-time $1000 scholarship.

• Up to 3 recipients
• Application Deadline: Apr 30th, 2025

Preference for students majoring in STEM or nursing programs with consideration to go to dental, medical, or optometry graduate school.

Employees and employees' families are not eligible.
