Dentistry Downtown has changed my opinion of going to the dentist… After not going to the dentist for too long, I decided I needed to go and chose Dentistry Downtown based on a recommendation from a friend. From the moment I arrived to my first appointment I felt so comfortable, which is not typical for me in a medical office. They asked about me and I could tell they wanted to know me as their patient. They took great care of me, and I even had my first filling. I was terrified, but they ensured I was comfortable throughout the entire process. Dr. Howell gave me some “assignments” after my first appointment and when I came back she was proud of my progress and noticed all I had been doing. I feel much more confident in the health of my teeth thanks to Dentistry Downtown. I have only gone 3 times and I feel so positively about all my experiences. I've been going to Dentistry Downtown before it was Dentistry Downtown, but Dr. Howell has been my dentist for as long as she has had this practice. I have to say I've received nothing but excellent care from her and the staff. From routine cleanings (great job Nicole!) to more complex dental issues I've had no complaints, although I may have given them something to complain about a few times! Thankfully everyone strives to make the visit as pleasant as possible. I would recommend Dr. Howell and the entire staff to anyone in need of a dentist or anyone looking for a new one.

Well my experience happen when I went to the wrong dentist I opened their doors and they were so welcoming and led me in one of their exam rooms and the dentist she's awesome and she just took a look and said I can't help you today but I can help you with the swelling and then infection she put me on some antibiotics and the following week went in and took out the problem the staff is great they're friendly they care I couldn't ask for a better dentist than that

I grew up in England and dental PTSD had taken its toll on me when I first arrived in the US. Then I had multi years of US Army dentists and they did a pretty good job. In 1982 we moved to Huntsville where Dr Shotts came recommended. He was a delight and Rebecca Howell has done wonders continuing what he started. I never worry about being in the dentist chair now. I have full confidence in her and she's never failed me... I highly recommend Dentistry Downtown.

Dentistry Downtown has taken excellent care of me for over 5 years now. Dr. Howell demonstrates the ideal balance of friendly and professional; she knows me and prioritizes my comfort, but she also respects my time and provides clear, straightforward advice. The technicians and hygienists I have seen have reliably followed her example. My only criticism is that DD doesn't accept some insurance plans, and I know a couple people who wish they could continue going here. Even if they stopped offering prize drawings for new patient referrals, I would continue recommending Dentistry Downtown to everyone I know.

I love this place! Today was my first visit and they more than met my expectations. Madison was my Hygienist and she was lovely. I have never had a dentist's office where they showed me around every room and what is done in each. They also have a refreshment area if you have to wait, which they really try to avoid. I was nervous and not sure what to expect when I made my appointment at Dentistry Downtown in Huntsville. Especially since my last dental cleaning was over 10 years ago. The minute I met my hygienist Madisyn, my nerves were at ease. She gave me a tour of the office and the amenities they provide, such as the beverage/ snack station, massage chairs, and headphones. They even offer Nitrous Oxide and Sedation Dentistry if needed. Madisyn took the time to get to know me before completing my x-rays and teeth cleaning. Then Dr. Howell evaluated my teeth and explained what my next steps to preserve them would be. The whole experience made me feel more like a VIP than a patient and I am grateful. Dentistry Downtown provides first class hospitality and I highly recommend them!!

I love this place! They do excellent work. They are compassionate and understanding. And they make you feel like family. I never get dirty looks because I sometimes have purple hair or super short hair. I always get professional treatment. I have been coming here for a few years and am bringing my son with me. They offer comfort items, sedation dentistry, blankets, massaging chairs, and so much more. I highly recommend Dentistry Downtown.

Today was my first time at the office and everyone made me feel like a "Queen" :) The staff were so friendly and pleasant. The atmosphere made you feel like you were at home. Wonderful customer service! I was seen for my first appointment within a day of calling. The office seems to do a very good job of welcoming new patients to with comforting measures and hospitality. I would definitely recommend. This is one of the best experiences I have had at a Dentist appointment.

Atmosphere is great. Everyone in the office is friendly and answered all the questions I had during my visit. Prices are decent compared to other places too. I love that they play the radio while you’re in the room so it’s not so quiet. I definitely will be recommending this place to anyone in need of work and I will be coming back for all my services 👍🏼

If you are looking for a happy staff from every single person in an office, you need to go see Dr. Howell and her staff. I’ll drive 30 minutes from Harvest to downtown HSV for dental services. Hands down the absolute best! You get a tour, treats and everything is explained in detail (If you like that) or bottom line deal. Riley, Jennifer (I think) to Mrs, Beddingfield to the lady that checked me out get kudos from me!!! Thank you and I love my teeth!! The best way I can explain it is, I walked into home! This office is amazing!!! All the way from the front desk to the end! It’s more then just an office visit. They make it feel very personal and comfortable. My hygienist Nicole was fantastic! Dr Howell is very nice and explains things very well! We moved to HSV recently and I have definitely found my new dentist! Great staff and atmosphere! Very accommodating to scheduling!

I am normally weird about going to the dentist but had to visit for a toothache. When I chose Dentistry Downtown, I did not know how calm I would feel in their chair. The dental techs are super nice and comforting and Dr. Howell is great. I decided to make them my forever dentist even though I live over an hour away in Arab. 5 stars and great fullness to a welcoming environment and painless dentistry full of laughs.

I am GLAD, I have Dr. Howell as my Dentist. I had 3 HORRENDOUSLY PAINFUL EXPERIENCES, with 3 different dentist. I stopped going for care for a number of years. The team at Dentistry Downtown provided excellent care and a level services and detail that I had never experienced at any other dentist. They took the time to inform me on what they were doing and were very thorough while answering my questions. Above all they we quick and responsive when booking appointments and follow ups even calling me to let me know an earlier spot had opened up. I would certainly recommend new patience check them out.

In person, they are even better - tending to every aspect of scheduling, referrals and payment. The technicians are professional, welcoming and put you at ease. I had my first visit this morning. The staff At Downtown Dentistry were extremely thorough and professional. I will definitely be back for all of my regular checkups.

Dr.Howell and her staff are absolutely amazing. I went to them due breaking a tooth and had terrible nerve pain. They came up with a plan of action quickly and had me in to see the oral surgeon and had surgery to remove the infected teeth ,done years ago, in the same week. She was also very fast and accommodating with her pain control.Her dental blocks work amazing and got me through one of the most painful experiences I have ever been through. In the past id lost faith with Dentists due to them pushing the most expensive options on me only to have months of pain and complications with a heavy bill. However Dr. Howell and her staff are very personal, kind, compassionate and are very transparent and straight foward with what you need medically vs whats in your budget and time. Needless to say I am forever greatful for her and her staff and I cant, for once in my life, wait to get the rest of my teeth fixed and to have my smile back once again. Seriously the best dentist. I called on a Friday morning in serious pain. I called and they got me in that afternoon. They took care of me and eased my anxiety tremendously. Long story short some antibiotics and I was better. This morning I woke up I severe toothache. A Saturday. Labor Day weekend. I called and left a voicemail for the dentist and she called in antibiotics for me. On a Saturday. On Labor Day weekend. Please if you need to be seen go see Dr. Howell.

Everybody was masked, they took temperatures before we went in, they clearly had this process down to a science. Also didn’t hurt that Bonita, my hygienist for the day, did a great job with my cleaning.

Dr. Rebecca Howell is an exceptional dentist that I have gone to for over 20 years. She is very sensitive to her patient’s needs and concerns. Like the little sign on the ceiling of the treatment room says “We cater to cowards” makes the experience the best I’ve ever had in a dental office. My dental hygienist, Patty, is exceptional as well. The entire staff always make you feel valued.

Dr. Rebecca Howell will not pressure you into anything and will discuss additional procedures. I have Delta dental and this place takes care of filing for you. Awesome people and awesome place. Went back for my six month cleaning, this time was a little different. COVID-19 precautions were definitely in place here. Dr. Howell was my higentist for this visit and demonstrated that she can still clean teeth. Great job folks. Keep safe

My family migrated to Dentistry Downtown after being disappointed with other dentists who would ignore issues we had. My husband had an infection his old dentist was just going to let sit for 6 months! Rebecca got him to a specialist at 7:45 the next morning. He would have lost 2 teeth if he hadn’t gone to her for a second opinion. She’s professional, thorough, high tech and listens to you. She’s been our family dentist for 5 years now. 5/5.
